So, if anyone has noticed I haven’t posted any content for around a month or so – I just wanted to make a really quick post to address why and how I’ve been feeling recently.
I knew when I started my blog that it would eventually lead me to want to do something else but I wasn’t sure how long it would take me to get to that point or what I would want to do. It happened much quicker than I thought, and six months into posting content 3 times a week, I feel bored and desire change.
After weighing up all of my options, I still have no idea what I want to do. I have plenty of idea’s, put I can’t decide the way or platform I want to promote them on. The problem with my personal blog is that I enjoy style posts and written pieces however I quite frankly cannot afford to keep rotating my wardrobe to create exciting outfit posts or lookbooks, even though they are my most viewed posts. And I don’t actually feel like enough people care about the written ones, which is fine, because we’re all lazy and I understand a lot of people don’t care to read an 1000 word post, but it leaves me, the most indecisive person on the planet, unsure on what direction to go in.
When I’m not creating anything I feel extremely lazy and unfulfilled, so although I am quickly trying to think about what step to take next, I really don’t want to rush into anything that 6 months down the line, I again will not be content with.
I would really appreciate it that if you do read my blog and enjoy my content, then you could let me know what you’d like to see more of. Any suggestions are welcomed. A lot of feedback I’ve received has been through email and private message so if that makes you more comfortable then I would really appreciate it.
For the next month or so, I have decided to continue creating blog posts about the things I’m interested in, including potential outfit posts but we’ll see. I hope you enjoy!
I worked with Gift Gwambe who kindly shot this personal look book that I styled. Check him out here and I hope you enjoy.

For all those who are lucky enough to have their own places to decorate for Christmas, here are a few decoration ideas that are timeless and chic, fitting into any homes. The key to avoid tackiness over the holidays is avoid tinsel, excessive glitter, white christmas tree’s and ott decorations. It’s as simple at that.
The photo on the left is the perfect example of a classic, Scandinavian Christmas (I don’t know if it is actually Scandinavian but it looks it). Everything is kept minimal but intricate details add extra festivity with the branch hovered over the table with baubles and tiny lights, and my favourite; the fur scattered over the chairs (faux I hope). It looks so cosy but not too much. Juxtaposed to the photo on the right, where yes there’s alot going on but no it’s not tacky. This is a photo from Laura Ashley so ignore the items all over the table; I just love all the candles adding a festive warmth to the room.
The imagery above is the perfect example of a classic, traditional Christmas looking chic. I love the ideas of fairy lights in jars with the pinecones especially and this is a great idea if you don’t have a living room to decorate as these would be a lovely touch to a normal bedroom. I also love the colour scheme of the living room with the neutral bauble and wrapped presents.

1.) Stranger Things & The Dazed Issue
For someone that watches next to no TV, I was surprised that I could not turn Stranger Things off and finished the whole thing within 3 days. If you have a short attention span, this is a great watch as there’s only 8 episodes to the first (and only) season so far, which are around 45 minutes each. It’s definitely my favourite ‘programme’ I have ever watched.
“The nostalgic sci-fi/horror thriller about a missing boy is an homage to the cult favourites of the ’80s and has layers upon layers of terrifying twists and turns.”
And, the stars of the series Millie Bobby Brown and Finn Wolfhard have recently graced the covers of Dazed. Can we just appreciate how amazing they are?!
2.) Pieces Blanket Scarf
As a commuter, I need to go above and beyond to make sure I’m cosy and warm at all times, and I couldn’t of done that this month without my Pieces Blanket Scarf. It’s almost like a snood but I can adjust the scarf easily when I get too warm and it’s just a great allrounder. I wear this literally everyday, no matter the outfit.
3.) Pixi Rose Oil Blend
After seeing so many people rave about this I thought I’d give it a try, I’m not one for experimenting with skincare and I’m more than happy to stick to coconut oil as I have naturally dry skin, however this has genuinely made a difference in my skins hydration and helps keep my skin moisturised for the whole day. This is a really nice change as I think my skin is too accustommed to coconut oil as of now, and it also smells incredible.
4.) Pixi Glow Mist
I ran out of my Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray and my NYX Dewy Finish Setting Spray and I’ve realised that going a week without a face spray has made no difference to the longevity of my make-up, it’s just made my make-up stop looking as radiant and seamless. I’d never heard of the Pixi Glow Mist before but it does exactly what I want in terms of making my face look hydrated and seamless, using natural oils and a great gentle fragrance.
My bestfriend Millie introduced me to Tiger this month, a shop I have walked past for literally years, not realising what a hidden gem it was. It’s a homeware store designed in Copenhagen, selling everything from food, to beauty to decor. And to top it off, the pricing is unbeatable, everything is around £1-£10.
